Nitro: Stream Racing started Closed Alpha on January 24, 2023 and will be ending on March 10, 2023.
We are really excited to be building the game with you!
We really appreciate the time and feedback you've been sharing with us the last few weeks! Every message, stream, VOD, and clip helps us make the game better.
As our Closed Alpha comes to an end we will be reseting everyone's progress. You can find more info below on what to expect with the reset.
Open Beta! Yes, we will be opening the game up for everyone to play on March 11, 2023.
We will continue to improve, develop, and add new features to the game (and there will still be some rough edges) which is why we will still be in Beta. But, we are too excited to not let more streamers join the Nitro Racing Party .
On March 10th, 2023
We will be taking the game down for server maintenance, prepare to scale, and release the Open Beta version. You can expect the downtime to start around 7am PST and last around 6 hours.
After the downtime is over, Open Beta will be available. If you're quick, you might even get to play before the official launch date đ
Downtime start time and length may change. We will provide updates in Discord.

We started Closed Alpha knowing we would reset progress both for technical and design reasons. During Alpha we've changed, improved, and finalized how we will be structuring player accounts in our database. We've also finalized and re-designed a ton of features -- from quests, to the race pass, to our bigger re-work of the garage. We've also tested features -- from balloons to challenger races. And we've experimented with the balancing of the game -- race rewards, the cost to unlock cars and drivers, and more. All of this is changing to it's Open Beta version in the next release and with that we need to reset everyone's accounts.
