Closed Alpha 2 was released on February 23, 2023. Below is a log of all the releases and updates done for this version.

Hi Racers!
đŦ The Viewer Website (game.playnitro.com) and the đī¸ Streamer App just got a hotfix release to address several bugs reported yesterday. When you start the game, you will be prompted to download the latest build.
The following issues have been fixed:
You can now unlock the rest of the Desert Cup tracks in Challenge Mode! đ¤
Performance has been improved throughout the Viewer Website đī¸
'Locks' are showing on colors you already purchased. It is a visual bug that is now fixed. đ

Car âlocksâ are showing up on wraps that you DO have unlocked. We are working on removing the visual bug. đ

Hello Nitro Racers! Hold on to your helmets our update just went out and it's HUGE.
𧚠Progress from Alpha will be wiped in the next release. You will keep any drops or giveaway wraps plus a bonus reward!

đī¸ Streamer App Update
Challenger Game Mode --> we are experimenting with a new game mode, you and your chat team up to defeat the evil bots. Win to unlock the next track in a cup!
Megas --> huge VFX update, better in-race notifications, and we've also re-balanced megas. Tornados no longer take out the car that triggered them and bananas fade out.
Tons of UI improvements --> from the track selection screen, to the race HUD, to the end of race screen. They've all gotten a facelift and the info you've been mentioning on stream the "I wish I could see ...." is now surfaced!
đŦ Viewer Website Update (game.playnitro.com)
Lobbies --> viewers can now join your lobby if you are live and will be able to stay in your lobby from race to race.
Garage Loadouts --> unlock multiple racing slots, customize your cars more easily, and YOU choose which power-ups and mega you want to bring to the race
Race Pass --> we are testing the v0 of our free race pass
đĒ Twitch Drops
𧥠We also have a brand new orange car wrap to earn via twitch drops. The campaign will be running from today 2/23 to 3/1.
đ The green car wrap will be running from 3/1 to 3/10!
