Get started with Nitro: Stream Racing

TLDR

  • Streamers run races with their communities!

  • Viewers join race by typing !PLAY in chat or going to playnitro.com

  • Viewers (or streamers) who place well in races earn coins + Race Pass tokens

  • Customize your cars on playnitro.com - use coins to unlock new cars and garage slots, and make different loadouts

  • Each month there’s a new season, new tracks, and a new Race Pass! At the end of each month is a Streamer Grand Prix tournament!

STREAMER SETUP

  1. Download the streamer client on PC from this link.

  2. Load up Nitro and sign in with either:

TWITCH account to sync with your Twitch chat

Google account to sync with your YOUTUBE chat

Streaming on YouTube? You will need to sign up here. We will give out access codes on a weekly basis.

  1. Open options and select full-screen mode

STARTING A RACE

  • There are two game modes for Beta Launch:

    • COMMUNITY MODE - race with all of your community in a free for all

    • CHALLENGER MODE - your community against bots -> win to unlock new tracks!

  • You may want to start with community mode to get familiar with the game, and then play challenger mode to unlock new tracks!

  • In Community Mode, you can customize some race options including:

    • Number of laps

    • Adding bots

HOTKEYS FOR CAMERA

  • 1-9 → Jump to car on 1st to 9th place

  • TAB → Enter manual cam

  • Q and E → Height offset

  • O → Enter auto cam mode

  • Middle mouse button → teleport forward

  • H - Snap to hotspot camera

  • Backspace -> Last Place

  • M -> Top Ten Nameplates

  • Caps Lock -> Toggle Nameplates Visibility

In options, the camera also has settings for camera control:
